As a former nanny and teacher, I particularly love helping kids to set up and maintain organizational systems. From my experience, it’s never too early to start helping children build the skills necessary to be productive and efficient later in life. I’ve found that kids function best in spaces that are their “own” (i.e. unique to their styles and personalities) and that are set up in a way that allows them to be creative, comfortable and the happiest version of themselves. It’s even more critical to help school age kids have systems for organizing schoolwork and homework.
As for the rest of us? I have found that adults also thrive when their environments are organized and their lives feel under control. I’ve been offering organizational support for friends and families for 10 years and I’m looking forward to doing the same for you and your family.
